Dr Xi Yu (Aston University) has undertaken a secondment Prof Feng Wang’s lab at Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. During his visit, they evaluated using the CFD approach to carry out detailed model the biomass gasification and the CCS process. He also delivered a seminar and ESR training evet at DICP on applying “CFD on biomass thermochemical conversion research”.
