Mr Shuming Zhang from Queen’s University of Belfast had visited Xi’an Jiaotong University between from October 2019 hosted by Prof. Ningbo Gao. He investigated syngas production and ash behavior during a new promising technique-Autothermal CaO looping biomass gasification. Based on the results, higher syngas yield can be obtained by lower gasification temperature which can increase process efficiency and reduce ash sintering. In addition, a scientific manuscript has been published in FUEL journal.
